With 6 Shimano gears and electric power instantly available, many tough slopes can be climbed that might normally require dismounting. The Coaster's independent throttle enables the rider to adjust speed to suit the conditions.

The Coaster’s powerful yet light NiMH battery will take riders 18 miles (30km) just using electric power. The Coaster battery is light, fast to charge and has an even longer service life - up to 600 charge cycles
